The Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Administration, Networks and Cybersecurity (ARC) at ESIIA is a qualification registered with the RNCP at Level 6. It aims to train senior technicians or technical managers capable of designing, securing and maintaining a company’s IT infrastructure.
This programme is perfectly aligned with the needs of managers responsible for infrastructure administration and security, who are seeking creative, passionate, curious and motivated collaborators.
The ESIIA Bachelor’s Degree in ARC enables students to become highly operational from their very first professional experience or to continue their studies at a Bac+4/5 level. The programme includes courses, conferences, Masterclasses and Business Games delivered by professionals who are experts in their respective fields.
Students also benefit from connections with our network of high-level partner companies in order to complete their work-study placement.
The Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Administration, Networks and Cybersecurity (ARC) at ESIIA is a State-recognised Level 6 qualification that aims to achieve the following objectives:
Assist colleagues with complex technical issues
Install and configure active equipment (routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points)
Optimise data flow to prevent slowdowns
Diagnose and resolve connection failures
Install, configure and update company servers
Manage user permissions (who has access to which folder/software)
Use tools such as VMware or Hyper-V to run multiple servers on a single physical machine
Configure firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
Implement password policies, data encryption, and security update management
Manage backups and establish a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in case of cyberattacks or disasters
Use scripts (often in Python or PowerShell) to automate repetitive tasks
Advise management on new tools to adopt in order to remain competitive and secure
ENTRY LEVEL(S)
Baccalaureate and Bac+2
Prerequisites: The Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Administration, Networks and Cybersecurity at ESIIA is open to holders of a baccalaureate qualification and, for entry into the third year, to holders of a BTS or any other Level 5 qualification.
Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.
Assessment Methods: Case studies and/or tests and/or essays and/or text analyses and/or multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and/or oral assessments and/or research projects / Continuous assessment / Work-study and competency evaluation (written + oral) / Thesis defence / Professional evaluation in the company
Programme Summary Documents: Course materials (PDF, and/or Word, and/or PPT formats), case studies and/or audio and video resources, and any exercises to be completed during the programme
